From a 25th Anniversary dance on the 21st June 2014:

"Please can you pass on our thanks to all the band, we had a great night and everyone that came thoroughly enjoyed themselves, I don't think they'll have any problems with getting enough people to turn up at the Bucklesham yearly barn dance in the future. I hope the band enjoyed themselves and we look forward to seeing them all again soon."

From a 40th Birthday dance on the 9th May 2014:

"Thank you and please thank the band members from us both. They played brilliantly and we all really enjoyed the dances. Everyone enjoyed themselves."

From a 25th Anniversary dance on the 30th November 2013:

"Thank you sooo much to the band.

As said on the night we might have been one of their smallest audiences in some time but we made up for it in enthusiasm.

We have had so many positive comments so many thanks to the band and caller. Everyone felt they could join in, not be embarrassed by going wrong and the instructions were great to follow anyhow. Fabulous music.

If I can ever act as a reference for enquiries for future events I’d be very happy to do so.

Not sure the band will still be around in 25 years’ time (not sure I can hack organising another one until then) but I’ll certainly check, just in case. We might all need our zimmer frames by then mind!

"Please could you pass on our thanks to all the band members of Inertia Reel for a fantastic evening of entertainment on Saturday. We have had a lot of comments about how good the band were and how well they led us through the dances. I know that there were quite a few people there on the night who had never been to a Ceilidh before and had initially needed some persuading to attend - hopefully this is no longer the case and they are converts!

From a dance for Tunstall Village on Sept 3rd 2011:-

"Please pass on our thanks to the band for a lovely evening on Saturday in Tunstall. As you know, we were apprehensive about low numbers. In the end there were about 40 there and they had a wonderful time according to the feedback. The band got it just right, singing some numbers and getting us to dance to others. Several people there said it was the best live band they had heard. Thanks to all, and if we can get a few more interested, we will be in touch next year- it should be easier now as the ones who came should pass it on!"
